Pyrat XO Reserve

It's out of my favorite rums, but these oranges which are in it...

Nose: oak, smoke and orange.
Palate: Sharp, poor, one-dimensional taste. Sweet orange. Poor volume, unbalanced.

Velmi sladký a docela silný dezertní rum. Za tak nízkou cenu musím dát 8.

Nice Rum received as a present and it's still going.

When I fist smelled it, it was not so nice.
So i sipped. I surely wasn’t disappointed!

This rum has a very tasty citrus note when first opened, which disappears after the bottle has been opened for a few days. This leaves the rum without enough complexity to make it particularly memorable. My recommendation would be to buy the half size bottle and enjoy it with a small group of friends in a single sitting to get the most out of it.

I expected anything:-) but the taste is not bad. Strong orange tones with valilla end.The aroma is interesting. The longer you let it ring in the glass, the more peculiar the aroma is.

Chutná po vanilce, marcipánu, sladkém koření a vyzrálém ovoci, výrazné citrusové aroma. Pyrat XO Reserve je rumem z portfolia Patrón Spirits Company.

This one is quite unique, the taste is very alcoholic, feels almost artificial. I can understand why some people dislike it. As for me, it's not really bad but definitely not for everyone.

Spicy, full of aditives with little burn, tastes like orange gummy bears... Reminds me of (worse) Don Papa basic type
