Virgin Islands, British | Aged | 40% ABV
The Great British Admiralty first served rum daily to its Royal Navy sailors over 300 years ago until the ration was abolished in 1970. In 1979 Charles Tobias bought the recipe rights, formed Pusser’s Ltd. in the British Virgin Islands, and for the first time made the rum it available for public consumption.
Pusser’s British Navy rum today is the same blend of five West Indian rums as the British Admiralty issued to sailors.
Known as the “single malt of rum” Pusser’s British Navy rum is pot stilled using a similar method as that for single malt scotches, and with no artificial flavors is 100% natural.

A strong rum that warms your soul but to the expense of a looker room taste in the middle but all in all land on the sides of the tongue
Bought it as a sipper, but will use it as a mixer. Strong alcoholic taste, rather complex, but hard. Doesn't play for me even if I normally love hard rum.
Ikke min smag men er en god og ikke sprittet rom som holder hele vejen?
Good taste, average colour. The best to cocktails.

Námořnická klasika z Britských Panenských ostrovů. Mám ho moc rád.
I have been sipping Pussers neat for 30 years. The last bottle has a sickening burnt sugar aroma and taste. Think of grossly over cooked blackened caramel. Attempts to contact Pussers with batch numbers has gone unanswered. This bottle was distilled in Guyana.
They don't seem to be interested in feedback.
Complex Rum with reminds me of dryed fruits. Ideal for Mixing sweet Cocktails. Sipping if you can handle the burn. Great Value for Money!
Good enough to sip but an excellent mixer. Coconut, butterscotch, dried fruit and packs a little punch. I didnt think water changed it all that much. Short finish.
Original tot served to sailors

It has just the right balance of sweet.
"The rum is rich, warming, sweet, slightly oaked with hints of black pepper and allspice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is my go to when making tropical drinks. This is the rum used the The Painkiller at The Rum Bar in Key West. Still a little to harsh and missing the sweet flavor I'm looking for when drinking on the rocks.
