Virgin Islands, British | Aged | 40% ABV
Pusser’s British Navy Rum 15-Year is a blend of five rums from Jamaica, Guyana, Trinidad and Barbados which are produced in mainly wooden pot stills. The blend is aged for 15 years.
The company derives its name from the British Navy 'Purser' who distributed a daily 'tot' of rum ration to each sailor - a tradition which lasted from 1655 until 1970. In 1979 Charles Tobias obtained the rights to blend the original recipe of the British Navy Rum.
Pusser's British Navy Rum is casually known as “Nelson’s Blood” as a nod to the famous death of Admiral Nelson. After being mortally wounded in a naval battle in 1805, Nelson’s body was preserved in a barrel of rum.

A powerful rum that I find perhaps a little overwhelming. It has a great taste, but perhaps lacking in the smoothness that I seek in a rum.
Probably not the most complex or delicate rum you'll ever try, but if it's a big bold sugary dose of lovely rumness your after you've found it!
Easily the best of the Pusser's line. Good value for its price point.
This bottle just did not work for us.
Everyone made one drink then moved along.
For its price a really good rum. Easy to drink. Lots of taste and not too sweet. Am nearing the end of my bottle and you can't buy it in Sweden any more.
Bon rhum, mais moin dans mes cordes. Pour le prix il en a des vraiment meilleur.
Being English and from a port city I really wanted to like this. Quite expensive and hard to find. But... if someone had given me a glass of this I would have guessed it was whisky... Lovely aroma but a harsh whisky , woody taste. I feel guilty but im really going to struggle to drink this bottle.. Will try again later and hope for a different result , maybe with ginger beer ? Bugger.....
Sweet notes of orange marmalade, cinnamon and sugar and finish of fruit and leather.
Very distinctive rich fruity slightly malt like.
"The flavour bursts through it is rich and fruity but it also has that dry almost whisky like note. ."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is a wonderful rum. Love the smell & taste. But, for the cost ($65 here in ATL), there are less costly rums that taste as good.
