A blend a white and barrel aged cachaca resulting in a golden liquid.
The nose is very inviting with fermented apple, fig, cinnamon and sugarcane, perhaps a hint of raisin. It incorperates a lot of the classic cachaca soul but with a vibe of christmas. In the mouth the figs and cinnamon are even more pronounced, but it’s more earthy than sweet. The finish gives of notes of rounded oak and cloves. Very nice and a solid seven.

Smells like socks and grapa. Tastes the same. Not good. Very industrial too. 24 rums calendar with S.

minner meg om norsk hjemmelaget brennevin i lukten, klarer ikke Γ₯ lukte noe spesielt. Det samme gjelder smaken, brasiliansk Rom er ikke min favoritt.

When you say rum and Brazil, you have to say Cachaça. I am not particularly a fan of the brazilian national drink, but I have heard good things about this brand. I was however left disappointed.

Nose: Banana bread, buttermilk and a pungent fruity smell
Taste: Very light taste of bananas, candied fruits and a light touch of wood.
Overall: For a cachaça, this wasn´t so bad, but for a rum it lacked flavour. It was simply to light on the palate. The notes that were there were also not impressive.

That moment you taste something new for the first time and it blows your mind...well this isnt it. Bought this through curiosity mainly. Read up on Cachaca, how it's made etc and was hoping for something much better. Too harsh for my pallet, not subtle at all and no discernible depth.

I didn't know what to expect so wasn't overly disappointed but looking forward to trying a much better example of this type of rum

Smells of butterscotch and nail polish remover. However, tastes like a good agricole. I was not expecting this and the lingering vegetative funk. When I figured out what cachacas was it all made sense. Its different but good. I am looking forward to trying more aged offerings.

It’s a mid because it’s young and still spicy. Moderately sweet, lighter sugar flavors, clean vegetal and grassy. light feel and a strong warm finish. Mellow with ice and it sips well.
