A beautiful bottle, with a rich chocolatey nose that leads to a burnt caramel mouth. It leaves a long spicy finish and is just great

I find it handy to have this bottle within easy reach, as rum lover and discoverers all appreciate this rum. The alcohol doesn't taste overwhelming, focussing on the sweet sugarnotes without getting to fruity.

This rum packs a soft but powerful punch as far as alcohol is concerned but the second you swallow, your mouth gets flooded with a sweet taste giving off some extremely subtle cocoa and smoke vibes.
I knew I'd enjoy this the second I sniffed the bottle cap due to its pleasant nose.
I definitely recommend this as one of the best (if not the best) rum in its price range if you're into sweet after tastes.

If it wasn't so sweet I would have rate it a 9. Pleasant rum, no burn, fruity, very good in summer, I understand why most people like this. A bit pricey for me that I don't enjoy sweet rum.

Bought at an impulse on vacation, did not regret it. On par if not better than Matusalem grand reserve 23 yr

Beautiful bottle containing a beautiful product. Very enjoyable to sip on and goes down smoothly. Smells of vanilla and fruit, and has a lingering aftertaste, which is strong on the tongue but not unpleasant. I’m relatively new to sipping rum, but this is the best I’ve had so far.
