Plantation XO 20th Anniversary

Just love this rum. The nuance and change of flavor profile is astounding. It is my opinion that this bottle is the premium in the under 150$ class. Smooth and complex with flavors as wide as cedar and leather to caramel to late summer wildflower it is an amazing experience to sit with this rum. Love it times 100. No, they aren't paying me. Sh*t is just really good. Again, if you are inclined pair this with your special cigars. Atabeys, Zino Exlusivo , Partagas Lusitania. The Rodriquez natural 1984 pictured above was a winner with it too . This rum deserves the best to get all it will bring out.

I think the sucess of this rum has allot to do with how it fits most peoples pallets without offending anyone. When people think of rum this is the flavor i think allot of people imagine. Its a sweet light tropical fruit flavor with little spice and almost no barrel flavor from what i can remember.

One of the best rums out there and i think most people will love this, i do prefer the el dorado but that is just my personal opinion, i think in general this is more approachable.

Aroma and taste of banana, mango and chocolate. Very smouth and delicious rum.

Awesome smooth natural tasting rum. Color is a nice golden brown. Tastes include woody notes and is overall very soft. I love the smell of this one, it is very light and pleasant, with a lingering sweet aroma. The bottle looks quite nice, but nothing too extra. Overall an amazing super smooth rum.

Smooth vanilla flavours come through in this exceptional rum. I debate whether I should give a 10 rating and may come back to adjust.

Hard to go past the Plantation brand and this is one of the finest they have. A smooth drop with minimal kick or burn. Great to be enjoyed straight on the rocks or with a subtle mix or chase. 9/10

I just can't go a few days without a small taste of this beautiful rum. Plantations great marketing and old school look grab you and pull you into this tasty caramel, brown sugar, molasses spice Bomb with the smoothest finish. Unreal price for XO. Would love to give a 10 but saving that for a life changing rum experience.

Absolutely delicious. Tried this neat at room temperature. Wonderful rum! Warm caramel and vanilla.I could drink this everyday.
