Can't go wrong price/quality wise with this one. Great for mixing, not as good for sipping. I get notes of grass, clove and cane paired with a nice mineral taste.

Nie som priaznivcom bielych rumov, nakoľko sa ale jedná o obľúbenú značku, nedalo mi to. Fľaša rovnaká ako pri základnom tmavom Dark Original, farba drinku je ľahúčko žltkavá. Vôňa je ľahká, svieža, jasne cítiť tropické ovocie, hlavne kokos a ananás, trochu limetka. Chuť zodpovedá vôni, rum je veľmi jemný, spoznávam tóny typické pre výrobcu aj v ostatných vyrábaných druhoch. Nápoj mi trochu pripomína gin, avšak jednoznačne aj rum, hoci to má k tradičnému tmavému rumu len tak na pol cesty. Nemám príliš s čím porovnávať, pil som kedysi biele Bacardi a nejaký lacný Liberte z Lidla, toto je však naozaj veľmi piteľné. A určite nielen v mixe s colou/tonicom. Aj vzhľadom k cene nemám čo vytknúť, každopádne priemerný rating cez 7 mi príde trochu optimistický, hlavne pre absenciu výraznejších dubových a dymových tónov. Za mňa silných 6.

RO: Nu ma dau in vant dupa romurile albe , cred ca a lor culoare nu ma atrage , dar imi amintesc ca primul rom alb pe care l am incercat m a impresionat (dictador claro). acesta din pacate nu mi lasa aceeasi impresie , in niciun caz nu spun ca e rau dar nu are nimic special, totusi are ce ii trebuie sa fie un rom foarte potrivit pentru mixuri, banuiesc ca romurole albe in general pentru mixuri au fost gandite.

in fine, acest rom are un miros destul de fad pentru mine , ceva usor dulceag , alcoolul se simte putin in miros.

Gustul este de zahar, acolo ma duce direct cu gandul, zahar.. alcoolul arde placut pe limba si se mai simte si ceva fruct, difuz, poate gust de banana bine coapta.

EN: I don't go for white rums, I think their color doesn't appeal to me, but I remember that the first white rum I tried impressed me (Dictador Claro). unfortunately it does not leave me the same impression, in any case I do not say that it is bad but it has nothing special, however it has what it needs to be a very suitable rum for mixes, I suspect that white rum in general were thought for mixes.

Finally, this rum has a rather bland smell to me, something slightly sweet, the alcohol smells a little just a little,

The taste is sugar, there it makes me think directly, sugar ... alcohol burns nicely on the tongue and there is also some diffuse fruit, maybe a well-ripened banana taste.

a simple rum

Great price. Good rum. Added sugar, but I don't mind. Mellow. I'm having Appleton Signature and 3 star duke it out for my "purchase in large quantities lightly aged base rum workhorse mixer of choice." Do i buy a 1.75 of Appleton or 2 liters of 3 star? I haven't decided yet and are both geat base rums for the money that anyone should be replacing Bacardi with.

Very smooth and light. Mostly banana in the smell, a bit of vanilla and nice balanced sweetness in the taste. Can be drinked neat easily in the cuba libre outstanding.
