This is domestic production where I live, so it's in the $15-20 range per bottle for me. I won't go straight to this as a sipper, because of all the options available cheap down there, but I've gone that route a few times. With a solid hour, the sweetness comes out in smell and taste, and it's a decent enough, if not particularly notable, option neat.
My point in mentioning the price above is that I primarily use it in mixes. The only problem is that if you serve to taste, you might end up with a triple, because it definitely is not harsh like rums relegated to mix status can be.
