Rate Dos Maderas Seleccion je sladký. Celkem dobře se pije. Neurazí.

Dos Maderas 5+5 is one of my favorite go-to rums so was very excited to see the Seleccion available. It's basically everything good about the 5+5 but with more flavor, better body, better aroma, and just as if not more smooth. If I find it available again (not easy) I'll definitely be buying another bottle.

This rum is pretty solid, not so smooth as other rums, but still enjoyable.

A nice smooth rum on the sweeter side. Very drinkable. Some layers of complexity and a medium length finish.

I bought this bottle after trying the 5+5 before. I still prefer the 5+5 above this one, maybe that is because of the nostalgic value it has to me.
The seleccion has a vanilla and fruity smell, Maybe slight woody. The first sip gives some caramel and vanilla taste in the aftertaste There is some very light burn and subtile woody taste.

Much better then 5+5. But depends botle from botle. Sometimes too more spirts just after open of bottle.

Ilike this rum, fine test. It is not intense rum. You can find in taste sherry

I decide to buy it, because I try 5+5, but I expect something more. It is great rum, but I when I was tasting it, I have also opened bottle 5+5, and difference was to small = 0.

Dos Maderas Seleccion is a sweet and pleasant. Like drinking a sweet dessert. Nose is okay. Lots of caramel, vanille and a small hint of red berries in the taste. A really easy sipper that does not harm anyone. If you like sweet rum, this will be one of your favorit. Personally it is too sweet for me, but I would still rate it 8 (the sweet taking into account).
