Dominican Republic | Aged | 40% ABV
Matusalem Gran Reserva 15-year rum is produced using a combination of rums aged on average 15 years and distilled from molasses using the solera process.
The Matusalem company was established in 1872 originally in Santiago de Cuba. The company fled the country following the Cuban Revolution in 1959 and the Gran Reserva rum is now produced in the Dominican Republic.

This rum is really cheap among older rums, but not as good as I expected.
Saw some of the other reviews and was nervous. This rum is smooth and get hints of chocolate.
After all a good rum, not particularly structured with a pleasant hint of chocolate. Ideal to drink with friends, not for tasting.
Jemný rum chuť až trochu nevýrazná krásný kokosový dozvuk po polknuti.
Standard sweet taste, but finish is very alcoholic and very long. Definitively not for casual sippers. There are better options for the price.
Nice dry, bit harsh, nice tones on nose when you leave it poured in glass for a while, worth trying, slightly above average rum, might be good as mixer
Wat langer geleden maar in mijn herinnering erg wrang en alcohol-achtig. Wellicht nog eens proeven om ‘t zeker te weten. Maar een fles kopen is daarvoor iets teveel.
Kto ma rad staru skolu, toho tento rum potesi. Karamel, vanilka a prijemna dubova dochut, teda ochutnate a viete, ze je to rum a nie syrup. Pokracujem v objavovani... Na zdravie!
A cuban style rum for sure, you can almost taste copper! :)
This rum is good no doubt, but The Dominican Republic has much more flavorfull rums available.
sort of thin and sweet, it tastes like liquid sunshine and copper. A good addition to pineapple juice I think.
Smooth and very well blended.
"The aftertaste is quite spicy and hot. Not in an alcohol burn way."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Coke should just take over this brand and resell as stuff to mix with. Can’t drink it neat and keep a smile so on to the next one. Again if you’re a mai tai drinker then by all means otherwise EJECT
