This rum has very good vanilla flavor.
Not as sweet as arome, but tasty.
It is better than Matusalem 23 year for me.

For me it was similar to Diplomatico, a little bit of burn but no special overpowering taste.

Both their 10 and 15 year rums are very good, but I give the edge to the 10 year. Both are medium color and have vanilla and wood notes, but the 15 was a bit more acidic and the 10 was a bit more vanilla.

Pale golden. I was not sure what to expect from this one. Straight away, aromas of mead, honey, some mild tarragon. However, this positive impression is broken -to some extent- by the flavours: fruity melon, on the sweet side, very samey.
There is not much to it.
It's certainly not unpleasant, and not a terrible rum, but it doesn't quite cut it. And the phrase "a combination of rums aged on average 15 years" together with the naming that implies that's the youngest one... Drinkable, no major flaws but that's it. Keep looking!

This is a good rum. Not too sweet taste. Fine sipper.

Please just do not buy these. It is more liquid sugar than a real rum. Still slightly better than some of the worst though.

Nose: some smooth alcohol is the first thing you smell. Then some sweetness and maybe some oak. The sweetness stays for a while. Overall not a lot going on here and even smells a little watery. Does get a little more interesting after letting it sit for a while.
Taste: first thing you get is butterscotch but as it gets further into your mouth it turns into oak while the sweetness coats your tongue. No burn at all. Not very complex though.
Finish: oakiness fades away slowly and turns into a slight, very pleasant burn. Does feel a bit watery but not really in a disturbing manner.
Final: overall, this rum would probably not be very good as a mixer since it would not really stand up to more powerful ingredients. It does serve its purpose as a sipper because it's really smooth and has nothing offensive about it; which might also be a bad thing for you. I would recommend this to people who are new to rum and want an easy entry .
Notes: added 3 drops of water. Also, I'm an inexpercienced taster so the details might be inaccurate, but it's still really enjoyable for my still-developing palate.
