Strong beginning on the tounge but finishes off with roasted nuts and a fruity taste
Perfect for mixing. Few bucks more than the plantino. Stick with the non color and save a few.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This rum for a 10 year solera blender appears exceptionally young. The rum is incredibly light due to its Cuban Style but has less flavor than the platino offering. There is very little wood or barrel influence even compared to rums aged for just 2 years that are not solera. While this rum is much smoother in the middle than Platino it has lost its vigor and I actually prefer the platino straight up compared to this. The aroma is fairly subdued with slight spice and vanilla. The rum itself offers several edges initially and also on its finish but offers little flavor in the middle with vanilla and slight brown sugar and butterscotch. Overall not terrible but not one I would recommend due to the lack of flavor it should have due to its 10 year solera mark.
