This is a class rum , very underrated .
You can taste each note easily, it moves from the apple the to the sugar and a beautiful Jamaican finish .. really happy on the rocks
Really good rum with high ester content. Principally olives (green and black), but still quite fruity with some coffee and liquorice. On the same league as Hampden Estate Gold, but sweeter and more floral, but less smoky. For malt whisky freaks only!
Found a bottle of this in the Bahamas and gave it a try.Did some research on it so I knew what I was in for before I tried it.It was a cheap $10, 750ml bottle and tasted like it.To start,I don't care for rums that taste more like whiskey, which this one does.(they age mostly in used jack daniels barrels ) It has a fairly strong alcohol burn and is suitable, only as a mixer.

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Aroma is nice and a bit "funky" with few esters. First taste is smooth, light, sweet and fruity (apples, grass) After a bit burning on palate. Aftertaste could be longer. Overall not bad, especially for the price 30Eur for 1l bottle.
