Prijemný jemný agricole. Ja mám rád trochu vyraznejšie chute.
Krásná vůně. Aroma portského.
Plná, suchá chuť s chutí čokolády.

Bought a sample of this to see what a bit more age in the cask brings to the Depaz party. I really rather like the VSOP, but with this, I'm not convinced.
Nose is muted. A bit of grass and solvent. Very soft. Taste has an appreciable, though pleasant burn. The flavours themselves rather take a back seat though. Bit of pepper, then lots of oak, then grass. Finish is super dry, with a lingering burn.
For me, this is less flavourful and less interesting, than the VSOP. The extra age seems to have muted the flavours, rather than enhancing them. Glad I tried it, but also glad I didn't punt for a bottle
Sweet aromas of orange, light toffee and caramel.
"Nice slightly peppery note which moves into an almost bourbon like spicy zestiness."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

First smell/taste is spices, grassy agricole sweetness following shortly. Some caramel, vanilla, mango and oak detectable.
Love the lasting burnt sugar cane taste on the tongue. Classic aged agricole. Definitely worth trying if you have a chance. Obviously not in the Filibuste league, but beating Clement/JM/STJames VOs/VSOPs left and right. 8.5
