Lamb’s Navy Rum is a blend of Caribbean rums that are aged four years in whiskey and bourbon barrels.
The original Lamb's Navy rum recipe, created by Alfred Lamb, blended 18 different rums sourced from Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados and Guyana. Lamb began blending the rums in England in 1859 and references the British Royal Navy in its name.

Really nice lower budget rum for cocktails. Nice with coke.
The reputation of this rum proceeded it so I avoided it for years. Tried it straight up recently and it lived up to it's critics, very harsh making it hard to even describe any flavour it might have. I can't imagine it being much better with a mixer and I will not be trying it.
Mixes very well with cola. Cheap and is a good mixer.
On a par with Captain Morgan's dark for me, which is not great. Sadly again money and the owners as well as the public have a lot to answer for. However both serve as something for beginners to try as both are not pricey and both not being hugely complex
A bitter Rum with little aged taste and feel to it. A very brown bag type Rum.
Typical heavy molasses dark rum. Top off a cocktail or drink it with coke.
A little too bitter, and not as nice as other standard house rums served at your average pub.
A poor rum and disappointingly prevalent. Wouldn't buy it in the shops although wouldn't send it back if served it in the pub
Meh
Taken the mantle of the standard dark rum

The rum is very sweet.
"It’s a very rich, sweet, fruity rum."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

and spiced. Overly done not a great navy rum. Supermarket own brand is comparable and often better
