Arehucas Capitan Kidd 20-Year

I had a chance to try this rum on Gran Canaria when visiting the Arehucas distillery. It is insanely smooth (no burn or whatsoever), but all I tasted was oak, which is probably due to the extra old storage of 30 years. Considering its prize, there are plenty of better and cheaper alternatives!

The bottle is from 1983 , so almost 40 years now , it's advertised as 30 years because it's bottled in 2013 .

It was a good mild and yummy rum I tasted in Karlstad, Sweden, Vin & Deli fair 2020.

Navré de constater que le merchandising prenne autant le pas sur le produit.... prix prohibitif, belle emballage et déception d'autant plus grande dans le verre.

Kanarischer Rum. Der Geschmack hält was die tolle Flasche verspricht. Flasche wie aus dem Piratenfilm. Der Rum markant und vollmundig. 20 Jahre gereift. Das Zuckerrohr für diesen Rum kommt auch vo den Kanaren.
