Kraken Black Spiced Rum was first introduced by Proximo Spirits in 2010 . The dark rum is infused with 11 “secret” spices, caramel and other natural flavors.
The rum gets its name after the mythical sea creature 'The Kraken'. As legend has it, this terrifying creature attacked ships at sea during the 18th and 19th centuries - possibly for all the rum on board.

This is an interesting sliced rum, but not quite up to standard for sipping.
Sehr ausgewogener und leichter Taste, angenehm, könnte etwas kräftiger sein. Kein alkoholischer Nachgeschmack.
PAs mon meilleur Rum, mais bien fait pour ceux qui aiment les Rum Black Spiced... sinon Nice packaging+++
Nice and spiced.great mixed with cola or ginger beer. I always find the bottle goes down to quick though!
I like this rum the most when it's mixed with genuine ginger beer, I think this is the best mix there is for the Kraken, the different tastes come up and get you in the right mood for a great time!!

Dit lekkere drankje lijkt wel een kruidenbitter. Niet veel rumsmaak wel veel karamel en specerijen, 11 stuks blijkbaar. Deze rum is zacht en smaakvol. Komt uit een grappige fles met mooi artwork.
Caramel et epices. Une palette aromatique agréable. Côté fun du mythe...
Very good rum. It's quite strong though so if you can't handle your liquor I wouldn't recommend it.
Quite a harsh burn even with coke. One is enough for my taste.

For a spiced rum, it taste good. Not a quality dark (aged) rum, but quality spiced rum. You should really try it.
