I forhold til pris er dette en meget god rom. Sterk smak, lite søt. God etter en kraftig middag.
Really good rum full of taste.
Aroma with mollases. Taste is bit smoky with hints of oak and continues in long lasting mildly sweet finish. In the middle of the sip there is some short bitter moment that makes the teaste more complex and interesting.
I will recommend this one
HC Maestros is a respectable rum and everyone should try it if the opportunity presents. A 9 or 10? I cant agree with that. It seems like the HC M is being mass produced now but the price is way out of line with better offerings. I would put a fair price at half what my local store is offering. I have a bottle just to compliment the display cabinet, but for daily use there are far better cost/benefit offerings. Go with a better tasting Dictador 12 YO or Pyrat XO for less money. Just MHO.
Nice, dry cuban rum with lots of intensity and wood. Not one you'd drink every day but certainly good if you crave something with a bit of a punch!
Agréablement surpris par ce rhum de la Havana Club. Belle délicatesse
En meget fin rom, der ikke lige helt kommer op at ringe, men den er fin.
I'm more sweet oriented rum lover. Selección de Maestros is not a sweet rum, it's dry and has also a bit stronger afterburn (45%). Nonetheless, the smell and taste is very nice, you can feel the wood of the barrels. This rum is definitely not for everybody, for me it's more kicker, than the sipper :)
78/100
I was expecting too much maybe from this tripple barrel aged Havana rum. A bit dissapointed. The smell is a bit strong on the nose, tastes surprisingly smooth for a 45% barrel strenght. But stil has some sharp edges. This rum needs more years to get more depth in the flaovour and complexity I think
It smells of apricot and peaches.
"Well blended and well-balanced spirit that it’s smoothness shines through. There is very little roughness or aggressive spirit tones when sipped."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
