Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

Lovely sipping rum which is a must in any home bar. One of my favourites for a night out on the town. Good value. Must buy.
Un ron nada memorable, si lo compras en Cuba tiene una buena relación calidad-precio, pero poco más. Es el típico ron que regalas cuando vienes de viaje, pero del que no presumirías delante de nadie que supiera mínimamente sobre ron.
My favourite rum is Legendario 7 year and Havana Club 7 year is very similar in taste. Definitely a delight to drink for anybody who likes sweet rum.
Is a pretty traditional cuban rum, from what I have tasted. Good, especially with a cigar.
Aroma starts as molasses and some leather. After sitting for a few minutes becomes all molasses. Can sip, but not the most complex.
Makes a fine Cuba libre, hard to tell where the molasses of the rum ends and the carmel of coke starts. Yum. Mixes well with lots of stuff.
A good rum at a good price
A nice rum to try with an ice cube. Complicated nose and tasty. A good choice. Dont mix it.
A nice middle of the road rum. Smokey with a bit of spice and a muted sweetness.
Lubrifiant social agréable sec mais meilleur dans les mix
Havana Club can be great or average depending where it is produced. Most Havana Club in the United States is not produced in Cuba and reminds me more of Bacardi. True Cuban Havana Club is well made, kind of like the difference of a real Cuban cigar to a poser
Havana Club Añejo 7 Años has a dazzling and clear mahogany colour...

Their is a creamy/buttery vanilla like smell oak, dry tobacco and smokiness.
"It’s very hot, spicy and very bitter. Luckily the burn isn’t bad and very short. Subsequent sips are much smoother."

Only as a cuba libre. Not neat. Good for a starter but not for a regular rum drinker. I like it when i intent to drink a lot of cuba libre. Quite standard
