Barcelo Imperial Onyx

Full body taste, sweet. Flavour of vanilla, oak and raisins. Good to have on the shelf. Should be a Standard.

Very nice bottle, looks nice on my bar shelve. Love this rum, Smooth, lot of flavours.

I can not understand why this is not more popular..
Much milder than normal Barcelo imperial and tasteful.
On the palate, butterly honey, caramel and some vanilla.
It is defferent from "premium blend 30 aniversary" but this is amazing one.

If you like the regular Ron Barcelo, you should give this a try. I supposed it is very similar to the regular one, but much deeper flavours and sweeter, absolutely delicious to sip.
One word of warning, as glamorous as the Black bottle is, it is an absolute nightmare to pour from, spillage every single time, so bad that I had to decant it into another bottle. I might have given it a 9 if not for this problem.

Lidt bedre end den almindelig Barcelona Imperial, men heller ikke denne gang noget specielt

Als ich diesen Rum in der Dominikanischen Republik im Supermarkt gefunden habe, war ich natürlich sofort neugierig. Der "normale" Barcelo Imperial ist ja ausreichend bekannt. Was soll ich sagen, ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Der Geschmack des Onyx ist ein wenig weicher als der des normalen Imperials. Mann muss allerdings klar sagen: Es gibt bessere. Für den Preis allerdings (umgerechnet EUR 20 im Supermarkt in Santo Domingo) ist er ein klarer Kauf.

Den har meget at byde på end den 'normale' Barcelo Imperial. Det er dog ikke en rom, som er noget specielt.

If youre looking for a more oak-like taste and a smoother drink, Onyx exceeds regular Imperial by all means. Perfect on the rocks.
