Nose: raisins, vanilla and a hint of sherry
Pallet: grapes and smooth oak
Finish: Oily soft medium burn
All in all a really nice rum to sip
A little bit thinn but with long aftertaste. I can not feel that much from sherry barrels. Normal sipper Rum without any extra.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

For the first time the SBS-selections gives the Dominican Republic a go. This bottle that clocks in at 55 abv is not a bad shout, but there is still room for improvement.
Nose: Coconut, nutshells and a small hint of baking spice
Taste: Warm and welcoming flavour of walnuts, coconuts, spices and oak
Overall: This is not a bad rum, but then again it is nothing special either. The aftertaste is to short, which is suprising given the ABV. This has potentiel, but is not quite there yet.
