Dead Man's Fingers Spiced

Dead Man's falls right in the category of a good spiced rum perfect for Rum and Cokes or simply cocktails. Nothing super special when it comes to flavour, could have some more spice but nothing to really complain about here.

Top spicy rum, there are various dead man flavours but this is my favourite

Stunning balance between the spices and the sweet, caramel notes. Although it has to be said that drinking this rum with a sweet mixer makes for too sweet a drink. The cinamon, nutmeg and hints of orange come together well balanced. Extremely smooth rum, easy to drink neat.

This rum is very enjoyable for a budget rum. It's rich and smooth with notes of vanilla, caramel, brown sugar and saffron.

really nice good all round spiced rum! would suggest as a drinks cabinet staple.

So, the good: It is very smooth, doesn't have that biting unrefined flavour of most cheap spirits, and it even tastes a little sweet, which is nice to sip neat.

The bad: the taste is noticeably artificial, not surprising from a brand which includes raspberry and pineapple rum, clearly adding flavour to a common base is the way they do it.

I liked it at first but the more I had the more gross it tastes. With coke it's bearable but I cant wait to move on.
