Appleton Estate Extra 12-Year

One of my favs. Lots of rich flavours, great colour, molasses finish. I would recommend having this over most for any rum drinker.

This is a real rum. Great to sip and leaves a nice warm glow. Gets better the longer it's in the glass so you'll have to hold yourself back a bit and drink it slowly.

For my first foray into rum, I decided to buy this as it wasn't a cheap rum but not expensive either. I was actually looking for something that tasted like rum balls and hoped I wouldn't get something that tasted like Bundy u.p. I was pleasantly surprised with this as it went down more like a decent scotch, not what I expected from a rum. Smooth enough to sip. Too nice to mix.

Tried this one with my brother in law, and this Rum has The Jamaican sprit in it!

I've heard some good things about appleton estate and for me it was a good taste but a bit on the strong side. I like my rum to be smooth with some hints of vanilla and this one doesn't have that. It's good to put in coke to get a rum bite at the end.

This has been my every day sipping rum, very easy on the pallet . Fruity but not overly sweet a nice suttle oakey finish.

I had it a looong time ago and found it way too harsh. Maybe its time to give it one more try.

Illata intenzív, nekem füstös, fás, érett gyümölcsös. Az ízében is ugyanez jön vissza plusz egy kis vanília A végén egy kicsit csípős alkohol és keserűség, amire az illatából nem számítottam. Ez utóbbiakat nem igazán szeretem, de meglepően itt nem zavart, jól beleillett a kavalkádba. Elég száraz rum, amik nekem nem szoktak ízleni, de ez bejött. Az első jamaikai rumom, de ezek után biztos még kísérletezek tovább.

This is a very nicely balanced rum. Not to sweet with a pleasant fruity body. A little bit of burn.

Given the price Appleton Estate 12 is a fair choice that want disappoint you.
