Sweetened with a strong vanilla smell. Depending on mood and dinner, I enjoy it streight from time to time as it is cheap. But there are definitely better ones out there.

I was read ‘Harry Morgan’s Way’ while I was drinking this, and it was nice to think Morgan had got a rum named after him, but that’s where the pleasure ended. I can’t say much for the rum.

Morgan had just marched his men to the Pacific Coast of Panama from the Atlantic, and they were sacking the city there. But then they got drunk and let slip from the port a Spanish galleon heavily laden with treasure, so I ended up depressed, as so often when I finish a bottle (not really).

I like this rum since it is available at almost every liquor store and it mixes well with cola or even root beer. It is not the best by any means but due to it being affordable, available and easy to mix, I gave it a 7 rating.

Where there is nothing else to drink, and if you put it into Coca cola, then it is quite drinkable. You can also make it at home, mix water, distillate, aroma, food coloring, sugar, and you can make any type of spiced rum.

Captain Morgan is the rum that got me started on Rum. Let's be honest, this is no Zafra or Centenario 30. However sometimes you want a prime steak and sometimes you want a fast food cheeseburger. When I want a cheap mixing rum, I am going to buy Captain Morgan. Don't try to sip it. Don't try to make it something it is not. Put it with some juice, or Sprite, or Coke and enjoy. Honestly it probably gets an extra star from me, just for the nostalgia of my youth.

Title says it all under 21 go for your life drinking this only stuff that is worse is Bundaberg up and that's saying something
