Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold

V prvom rade je nutné uviesť, že sa nejedná o rum, ale o liehovinu s prídavkom trstinového rumu. Dosť napovie aj obsah alkoholu len 35% (pravý rum by mal obsahovať min. 37,5%). Celosvetovo je dosť rozšírený, no s chuťou poctivého rumu má len pramálo spoločného. Vôňa aj chuť je veľmi špecifická, zďaleka nie komplexná, s absolútnou dominanciou vanilky. Aj tá je však veľmi umelá, od "spiced" som očakával viac. Pri prvom dúšku mi okamžite preletela hlavou vanilková Absolutka. Je zrejmé, že toto v sudoch nezrelo. Masovka, vhodná pre študentov na crazy party, neodporúčam ani ako mix. Vypiť sa to samozrejme dá, ale ak si chcete dopriať svoj pravidelný rumový pôžitok, tomuto sa vyhnite.

Not my first choice tast like alcool prefer tast of vanille

It goes down smooth but lacks any real flavour you would expect of a rum.

Mixed it in a rum and diet coke. Drinkable. Nothing special.

This is probably the rum I've bought the most over the years. It's a good social drink and maybe too easy to drink. I love it.

Spice gold! Not sure I agree with the gold, maybe a cheap copper. Fine for cocktails where it gets lost in the mix, but just not great otherwise

This is something i often see in bars that is not all thst heavy on drinks etc. This is more a sucsess of branding then quality. Thst said, i kinda like this with lots of ice and a cheap cola on a very hot day, when i want to save my other rums

Its ok, for some drinks. But I don’t recommend buying, because you get better with the same money.

It's a good one when you wanna just drink something and to not taste
