Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold

It's a typical rum brand, but really borging special. I only user it with coke.

I don't really consider Captain Morgan to be a real rum. It is not nearly as tasty or developed as "true rums". On the other hand, I find it okay for mixing and drinking shots, as it doesn't have a particularly revolting alcohol taste. In that sense, it is a great material for getting wasted, and at a low price! Whether that is something you are interested in is for another debate.

Now, for the regular review:

Very light golden color.

The smell is very sweet with loads of artificial vanilla and alcohol burn. There is also something citrusy.

Now, in taste, this is not very developed, nor complex. It has a pronounced alcohol taste/burn, there is that artificial vanilla again, then cardamon and clove. Sweet yet thin in both texture and actual taste.

The sweetness follows you around like the KGB and leaves a lingering aftertaste.

In the first place it has a great smell. Some spiced are added to this Caribbean Rum. Strong and a lot of flavour. Serving tip: drink it mixed with Cola and a Lime wedge. Enjoy!

A nice surprise. Mild flavor, slightly sweet. Good for mixing and sipping.

Standard spiced rum quite like Bacardi spiced not the best but ok

I was pretty young (too young) and thought this was decent at the time. While this rum is pretty terrible in hindsight, I owe it a small debt of gratitude. I liked it better than Jose Cuervo or Jack Daniels and while it's basically garbage, you have to start somewhere and it was good enough to make me a rummy for life.

Too many better options. No need to waste time with this one.

Aki ismerkedik a fűszerezett rumokkal, vagy szereti ezeket, annak érdemes lehet megkóstolni ennyiért. Nekem magában nem jött be az (a talán gyömbéres?) íze, kólával azért elment ez is...

Nothing terrible about it. Cheap and easy to drink with coke. Terrible burn to drink neat.
