very drinkable mixed. wouldn’t mind having a full bottle. had my bartender at my job make me one mixed with coke. would try again , not bad. enjoyable. i bet different blends are tastier.
This rum is meant for mixing and not to be sipped. Good for a rum and cola.
I picked this up on sale recently, with the new green and white label. It's got some nice funk, but still very beginner friendly. Definitely enjoyed it, and easily available and affordable. This is a good intro to Jamaican rum for many people. Mixes well also!
Decent rum, every man's friend but nothing special either.
There wasn’t one thing that stood out… it is as if they blended it into oblivion. There is nothing that stands out but some mild hogo. The aftertaste is a bit off but it works in mixed drinks. Probably better out there.
Good sipper for weekdays, i’ll take the 21 12 or 21 for the weekend
Cheap and good value for cocktails requiring jamaican rum. Funky and smooth mixed. A little rough neat but not even that bad.
One of the few rums I can sip neat over ice nice with a lemon slice.
Well balanced and it is a quite subtle (by Jamaican standards) rum.
"The initial sip is quite smooth but the palate soon heats up and feels the black pepper again, this time with some chilli and ginger spice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I used to drink a lot of this and I considered it pretty primo back when I was 20 and usually getting shitfaced off Captain Morgan Spiced with Coke, but 15 years later my tastes have changed and to me this has a very distinct flavour that isn't quite awesome. Drink this if you're a classy alcoholic.
