Diplomatico Reserva

Je chuťově hodně podobný Diplomaticu 3y. Ale přeci jen vyzrálejší.Opět na mě až moc sladký.

I prefer 12-years version but I must say that this one is drinkable. Taste is bitter sweeter than I used to.

I took a gamble, and it was ok, but nowhere near as good as Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva. This one is a little cheaper, but you sacrifice quality. Still very drinkable, but not as smooth or enjoyable as the Exclusiva.

Rhum sec, avec du caractère mais qui n'a rien d'exceptionnel.

I thought I knew rum before I drank this but this quickly turned me away from some of my favourites.
Its smooth, agile and soft on the pallet with enough flavour to keep you wanting more.

Like all diplomaticos this is a very sweet rum. Notes of caramel, vanilla and fruits in the nose and the taste.
Could drink it neat or in cocktails...Great value !

Smooth, rich in flavors, quite similar to the more recognizable Exclusiva edition - but a little bit more harsh, thus one must rate it slightly lower.
For those wondering about the meaning of the title...

I like the nose on this one, and the "pure" rum taste, not so much vanilla, orange or other such overtones. I like all those at times, but for a more classic taste, this one is a good, affordable sipper.

Etwas fruchtiger, leichter und süsser als der Reserva Exclusiva
dafür nicht so viel Tiefgang, aber sehr elegant.
Früchte, Vanille, Toffee, die typischen Rumaromen.
Für Einsteiger eine gute Wahl.
