My second most favorite rum after bumbu. Sweet, fruity, vanilla and toffee. Just OSOM :)
My brother gave me this as a bday gift.
Having never had Diplomatico of any taste, I wasn’t sure what to expect.
So it was good. Real good. Drinking it meat was the way for me.
Lots of flavors swirling around. Not much burn.
Added a small ice cube to the next and it really opened up.
Can’t wait to try some of their other tastes.
This is definitely one of the smoothest rooms I’ve ever had it’s definitely a favourite of mine and I would highly recommend it
Smoky taste, smooth, great in cocktails as well. Real rum. The best by far
This check the boxes for a day to day sipping rum- it’s readily available, has a solid Carmel forward flavor profile, and is cheap enough to occasionally experiment with in a daiquiri or grog.
Always a bottle in stock for a game of chess and a great cigar!
Got given by a friend. Didn’t think much of it until i tried. I always enjoyed rum but this is the one that converted me into a real fan
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
