Remarkable rum. It's on the sweet side, but it is smooth and tasty. My favourite rum under $100 hands down! Don't let the "it's a beginner rum fool you in the reviews". There is a reason this is one of the most popular rums on the market today. And despite what a few other reviews have stated (clearly from people who either just want to sound pretentious by criticizing a popular rum or haven't developed a palate) it does have a complexity to it that long time rum aficionados deeply appreciate. Truly excellent rum.

I truly enjoy this rum. Reminds me of a good porto because of the sweetness.

this is one of the best rums a man can taste!! absolute stunning recipe of rum mixing, the art of harmony and smoothness, a real hi-end sipping enjoy..

each spice comes distinctly alone but also in harmony chained with others, each nose feel different by revealing a new perfectly smoothed like velvet aroma, each sip lays in the mouth, nose and throat wishing to stay forever.. have been tried straight up, even in hot summer nights, brings always the same joy and satisfaction when sipping alone, or with lovely friends company.. very comfortably drinkable, needs prudence not to drink all the bottle!!

the nice retro bottle sadly does not allow colour to be revealed, but perhaps this is designer choice for the spirit not to be exhibited in light and preserves its body.. costing very very under it's value, this is the rum every one can start and finish with the rum adventure, no need to search for more, just if needed for fun and en reaching collection.. do not ever make the sin to mix.. very unique rum, must have!!

Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva along with Metaxa 7* are from the finest dark sweet spirits I have ever taste!!

Nutty, buttery, cinnamon and caramel goodness. Really delish on the rocks.

Probably the best rum on the market, when taking taste money ration into account. Quite sweet and very pleasant rum.
