Nez un peu sur l’alcool, par contre le rhum est très léger en bouche. Facile à boire, sur le caramel, épice, vanille tabac et sirop. Plus foncé et rond que le 8 ans. Très bon RQP.

There are 10 teaspoons of added sugar in every liter of this stuff! It's overly sweet and sticky. More like a liqueur. Remember, rum is made from sugarcane but sugar does not pass through distillation and into the end spirit. It's sugar free. The flavor will come from other factors. The easy way is to load it with sugar and other additives. For quality rum, look elsewhere.

A great rum for both beginners and experts. Plenty of words have been said about the nose and flavors so I won't add anything there. Deducted 2 points for being overly sweet. This is a result of Diplomatico adding 40 grams of sugar per liter, so just be aware of that! That's twice as much as Zacapa 23. I love sweet rums but I think in this case it just masks the complexity. Still, it's a great rum you need to try!

Strong nose, almost brandy like full of esters, one assumes due to it being distilled in a copper pot still. Extremely smooth for its age (I’ve read 12 years on the net but nothing on the bottle). Highly recommended!

This is a phenomenal rum. Smooth and rich and sweet enough to really enjoy, in an honest way without feeling superior to those who are not tough enough to withstand the burn. This was my intro to aged rums after years with scotch bourbon and rye. I am still looking to expand and have tried a whole bunch but this is the best. I look simply because I enjoy the search but I know that when it comes to rums, I've found it on my first try. The search is really for second place.

Classico dall’aroma fruttato, dolce e con alcol poco invadente. Sicuramente da tenere sempre in casa perché ottimo per ogni occasione

Spivey and sweet on the palate. Molasses, all spice, no burn very smooth.

Smooth rum with notes of caramel, vanilla, and smoke. Pairs nicely with a good cigar.
