I know it is expensive but this is truly a wonderful rum and worth saving for if needed or just buying a bottle when you can find one.

Grande richesse aromatique, longueur en bouche, charpenté, sucré mais pas autant que le diplomatico. Du très grand ron goûté dans un bar car au prix de la bouteille ....

nemozem povedat ze by bol zly to urcite nie, ale bol som prekvapeny ze dost mi v tomto rume prerazal alkohol. az tak ze dost toho prekryl. ked nieco postal, trochu zvetral bolo to o dost lepsie. potom je to slusne vyladeny rum, dost korenisty, nie moc sladky, urcite nie pre novacikov, je to trochu narocnejsi rum, ale to starsie rumy zvyknu byt. 7.5/10

For all the expensive rums I have. Rums at 3 times this price. This is one I keep coming back to. A perfect marriage of sweetness, alcohol warmth, bitter-sweet chocolate and spice. Presented in a beautiful heavy based bottle with a very weighty metal stopper and wire cage. This is one must for any serious collection and one that can be enjoyed at an acceptable price.

This is simply the very best rums that I have ever tasted. This must be a gift from the gods, it is that good! Amazingly smooth, with complex flavors that will keep you coming back for more. Do not hesitate to try this if given a chance, it WILL change your rum-tasting world.

Well after trying all the diplomaticos that was the cherry on the cake, bit expensive though...

Tastes of dates, honey, chocolate, and sherry. The sharpness of the bourbon can be found in the aftertaste, although it's not unwelcome with how sweet the initial taste is.

Add a little water to it, and you'll be relieved from the punch in the nose that is present at first and be introduced to some subtler trails in the journey that is this rum. I would personally drink the first half of your serving without water, and then add a little to the second half to lengthen the journey.

This rum was absolutely fantastic. A 9.5, only because I don't personally enjoy the sweetness as much. However, this is still one of the most complex and fine rums I've ever tasted.
