Cubaney is in my opinion value for money. This rum is even though at their higher price end, no exception! You get it alle, great nose, sweet first impression that opens up to more advanced flavours and then rounds it up with a smooth goodbye.

The aroma is very nice and brimming with toffee and rounded oak. The palate is sweet with a light toffee body followed by a spicy tingle and light wooden flavours with a long and smooth afterburn. Though it's a bit pricy considering the fireworks, I like it a lot. It's very pleasant with some complexion to boot.

I have expected something else, something special, but got only a good rum. On the other hand, it is a very good rum, maybe the expectations were too high.

If anyone asks me: Can you recommend me one of the best budget rum?
Always recommend this Cubaney 21, because of taste is absolutely amazing and you can drink it the whole day and you can still enjoy it.

Sweet and smooth on the level which is not annoying

Pred časom som z tejto série pil už 15-ročnú a 18-ročnú verziu, preto som dobre vedel, čo môžem čakať. Fľaše, ktoré prešli pekným redesignom, sú v celej sérii prakticky identické, odlišné je len označenie doby zrenia. Vôňa mi príde o niečo intenzívnejšia a štipľavejšia, vanilka a karamel. Chuťovo je možno o chlp sladší než 18-ročný, tóny sú veľmi podobné, znova dominuje karamel, med, drevo a trocha dymu. Je veľmi príjemne vychutený, napokon od stajne Oliver iné ani nemožno očakávať. Síce žiadny waw efekt, teda nič, čím by sa výraznejšie odlišoval od konkurencie, ale nemá ani čím uraziť. Tentokrát sa mi aj záver javí o niečo dlhší, čo vnímam pozitívne. Dokonca cena je len nepatrne vyššia ako pri 18-ke (niečo vyše eura). Chutný vyvážený rum, k vyššiemu ratingu mi na ňom prekáža väčšie množstvo cukru. Silných 7.

Yep, it's good. It taste like your fiancee just finished blow drying her hair a little too long. Rather than asking you to comb it, she entices you (with sex later...maybe) to chew on her burnt, yet still wet mane.
