Angostura 1919 8-Year

Pretty extreme on the vanilla and not much of a lasting finish. However: smooth, uncomplicated and not too sweet. Ok for every day.

Príjemná žlto-zlatá farba, rum pekne zaiskrí v pohári. Tento rum je z kategórie mladších rumov, o čom hovorí aj svetlejšia farba. Myslím, že je 8 ročný. Vo vôni dominujú ovocné, priam citrusové tóny, pomaranče, mandarinky. V pozadí je sladká vanilková aróma. Na druhý nádych cítim višne v čokoláde...=) Celkovo veľmi pekná štruktúrovaná vôňa rumu. Chuť je nevšedná, stopy po dubovom sude, trochu vanilky. Rum je suchší na prvý dojem, v zápätí cítiť trochu cukru. Na záver sa vynárajú drevité tóny, ktoré dlho doznievajú. Je to príjemný a veľmi zaujímavý rum, ktorý odporúčam každému vyskúšať.

Nagyon megszerettem e rumot, vaníliás, enyhén fűszeres, tölgyes , jó szagolgatni és inni egyaránt ...legyengése hosszú, kissé száraz, alkoholos-fűszeres !! ( az üveg masszív, ölni lehet vele ) :)

Von Geruch her wirklich sehr ansprechend! Etwas Holz, Vanille und ein wenig Frucht. Normalerweise lasse ich meinen Rum gut 15min stehen, bevor ich ihn trinke, dann ist er nicht so scharf, aber bei diesem Rum ist es nach meinem Geschmack besser ihn gleich zu trinken. Wenn er zu lange steht, schmeckt er mir irgendwie etwas zu rauchig und nicht so fruchtig. Trinke ich ihn nach dem einschenken, ist er zwar etwas schärfer, aber die Aromen sind mehr vorhanden und er schmeckt nicht rauchig... zwar ist er dann etwas schärfer, man schmeckt den Alkohol mehr, aber alles in allem ein besserer runderer Geschmack! Ebenfalls schmeckt mir dieser Rum mit Eis besser als auf Zimmertemperatur... halt irgendwie alles anders aber gut :)

Nose: A nice light fragrant nose, floral with vanilla, cherry cola, ginger, caramel, orange and coconut.
Palate: Soft, sweet arrival that turns spicy around the tongue with cinnamon and orange. Smooth, relaxed and warming.
Finish: Spicy vanilla
Smooth and sweet but also light. Spicy enough to be interesting as a sipping rum, no burn, silky. Works well as a mixer, but nice enough to keep for sipping. A great introductory mid-band rum and very good value at the price.

Godaste romen under 300 kronor. En njutning för gommen. Inte för spritig som många billiga är, utan en mjuk rund kola ton.

Color is blonde. Sweet, fruity, and floral on the nose. Light alcohol burn from start to finish. Reminiscent notes of honey toward the end with just a hint of tobacco. Easy to sip and great to mix. This is a great introductory rum.

Not my taste, to sharp taste of alcohol, to little sweetness, in this price range i expected something better, smell ok

Sweet rum wit smooth end, good taste, tasty body...

Pale straw color, nice sweet smell, delicious taste. Soft on the tongue, clean taste. Fantastic on ice, very drinkable neat.

Highly recommended for a new rum drinker.
