Nosing
Oak , cloves and pepper
Tasting
Smoky oak that's delightful with a touch of orange .. stunning rum
I tried number 7. spicy, smoky, mild not bad taste
I tried the boulet de canon no 6: already the nosing is dominated by the flavor of overripe fruits, wood, smoke and molasses. The palate starts with some little burn and spiciness, after which the notes of the nosing are dominant again. Interestingly the flavor of smoke is not biting or bitter but in fact almost sweet recalling the impression of ham and gammon. In case you like smoky rums you might easily add up 2 rating grades to my rating. I took the "6" as I am not sure, whether the majority of rum connoisseurs actually likes sipping such smoky rums. Nevertheless this rum is very special and doubtless a very interesting candidate for cocktail mixers.
This is some great Value for money. Nice to drink neat. Nose with caramel, smoke, orange, banana. Very smooth. This rum-blend has finished aging over 7 months in single malt whisky casks from the Isle of Skye. The result is very lovely
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Dejlig kraftig Rum, med hint af Røg. Smager fantastisk i en Penicilin.
