J'en ai le souvenir d'un retour fleuri dans le nez. Un doux souvenir. Pas mon préféré mais un bon rhum.
Very sharp. Tastes better after a few sips. Recommended!
Funky, fruity, and sweet. The agricole funk is gamey and somewhat tequila-like to me. At 100 proof, its flavor really comes through strong in drinks
It's a very good White Agricole. It's definitively richer and more intense than the standard clement. It has a nice smell of tropical fruits, a fresh taste. It's good also neat, it's not very aggressive considering it's an agricole with , but I prefer it on a ti punch.
In any case I think it's a step below other premium white agricole rhums (i.e. Trois Rivieres Cuvee de l'Oceane), 6/10 it's not honestly fair but in my opinion it's not a full 7/10.
Klare Farbe.
Omnipräsente, frische Aromen nach Kräutern, Gewürzen und (überreifem) Obst. Alkoholisch und metallisch-salzig in der Nase.
Trocken. Guter Körper. Alkohol gut eingebettet.
Langer Abgang.
Gewöhnungsbedürftiger Rumstil, nicht für jedermann, den dieser interessante Rum recht schmackhaft macht.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Nose: Unsurprisingly, fresh sugar cane is the central aroma. Leaves and other sugar cane detritus are there, too. I am brought back to memories of walking around a rum distillery in the Philippines, watching machine-cut sugar cane being dumped by trucks. Surrounding that core are very soft hints of Yakult, mint, buttered popcorn, coriander, radish, and bell peppers. However, I feel that the central sugar cane note overpowers the rest too much.
Palate: The character follows the same pattern as the nose: A central flavor of grassy sugar cane flanked by subtle ginger, radish, orange zest, and lemongrass. Unfortunately, it's also quite linear and has a thin texture.
Finish: The taste of chewing on both fresh and dried leaves. Echoes of ginger, too. Long.
