I was completely ignorant about this style of rum, a bartender at Test Pilot in Santa Barbara, CA made me a Mai Tai with a mix of this rum with Smith & Cross. I was hooked from that moment on. I now always have an extra in the pantry.

Earthy and oxidized fruit — in a good way.

Plenty of coconut, some icing sugar. A little perfume, potpourri. Clear white. Not super smooth, burn on the finish.

Bought an agricole rhum to try something new and I was left speechless. Very smooth for 50%. I finally understand what means "grassy". Nice drink for 25€. Very good neat and perfect in a 'ti punch. Apparently, I love all rums, amazing stuff.
