Great rum and bang for your buck. Nicely layered with tones from the bourbon casks and sweet esters. The 40% is not even annoying. Good stuff.
Latino 5 YO 2010-2015 40% (15 g/L sugar).
Blend of Guyana, Trinidad and Barbados, english navy style. But I could understand that containing a 60% of Guatemala rum they caleld it Latino.
It’s a light and bright, but more on the sweet side than in the usual dry side of the latin rums.
I think this one is a little bit too young and too simple.
I would start from the CDI West Indies 8 years.

I really enjoyed this rum. Its smooth tasting and goes well with Ginger Ale. Highly recommend!
A very nice young blend of rums from here , there and everywhere.. light straw in colour , bit of an astringent nose , plus fruit , honey and a bit of chocolate ! Sips well for a 5 yr old rum.. buttery notes , short finish. 7.5 rating really.
Combination of 5 years old rums of various countries in the Caribbean and Mid-America. This rum is totally dominated by sweet notes – starting with the nose and continued with the palate which has no burn at all. Palate reveals flavors of sweet sugar and vanilla. Only short finish.
I got the last bottle in town, which was not cheap for a 5 year old rum. But I am surprised by the taste, very comparable (not in detail obviously) to my more exclusive Plantation Guatemala XO bottle.
I'm happy that I bought this so that I can save the other for the more special occasions.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Good and sweet. Not outstanding for its price. Best drank around a campfire by the icefields parkway within a stones-throw of a herd of elk.
