For a change the smell outbids the flavour. Drank neat, the smell is full of sunshine fruit and bits of vanilla and could remind you of being in a Caribbean sweet factory; the taste fails to really emerge. Yes, its a spicy rum drink and it's orangery and so the taste reflects that but it doesn't develop much more from there. Drop some ice in it and, well, it's gets colder and slightly watered down to no surprise but doesn't really change the outcome. The finish is pretty good but reminds us of a cheap non-branded orange squash/cordial which if you don't have to you wouldn't willingly drink. £25 in the UK from everywhere, it works off of Brewdog's beer/lager name but doesn't really do much for those who enjoy a rum.
Rating: 4/10
Smell - Toasted pineapple, candied orange, slightly spiced, artifical smell but sweet and a little appealing, vanilla appears after a couple of sips
Taste - Orange in the start, punching spices like black pepper and a diluted citrus taste.
After Taste - Medium to long but is quite a dull citrus finish like a non-branded orange squash/cordial.
