I'm not sure if I just like this cachaca or love it. I'll be conservative and stick with my gut reaction of a 6. It's too sweet to sip, but the more I think about it, it could be fantastic in tropical drinks. Unfortunately, I only had a chance to try this at a tasting. I really wish I had a whole bottle to play around with in cocktails, because I think it has the potential to be an excellent mixer in tiki drinks. The nose is awful, which may be why I put it at a 6. It reminds me of a really strong clairin, but the flavor is actually nice. Definitely sweet, very fruit forward. I'm not sure I pick out passion fruit in specific, or just a wave of tropical fruits, but it is a nice sweetness overall. Actually, this would probably make a killer caipirinha. If you don't mind sweetened rums like Bumbu, this may be something you want to explore. If you dislike sweetened rums, then probably best to avoid.
