A good beginners rum but you will quickly move on. It's a sugary vanilla fest. hardly any noticeable spice due to the overwhelming vanilla.

Cheap.I am not a fan of this too drink on the rocks.But its not bad too.
I don't know if it is the industry standard but there are sure a lot of comparisons. Just about every bar stocks it and it just works. It's entry level spiced rum and for that it does the trick.
I love spiced rum..its the first spiced rum i tried and it pointed me in the spiced direction.. thanks capy.. Pretty smooth and mixes well with anything.
for a non rum drinker, morgan is a good starting point..
Have passed a number of good holidays sipping on this in a Cuba libre but many better mixing rums out there.
This was the first rum that I ever tried. I still enjoy it on occasion.
Recently at an outing when my preferred rum ran out and had to switch to the captain (tis' the season, eh). Arrrr. Better if it was hidden in a giant Coke slushie Perhaps, but not my thing. Tastes too much like they just add syrups to a cheap bottle of rum.

You can get it everywhere ... its a really cheap rum . I prefer this rum with cola or with apple juice and lime.
