Foursquare 2009 Equipoise ECS Mark XXV 14-Year

This is next level past 2011 last release. Lots of depth love it. Can’t wait till next one.

red fruit blast on first sniff, port wine, cinnamon, vanilla, burnt sugar, coconut

palette - tropical fruits with sour veil, spicy spice, pepper

finish - bitter-sour fruitiness, bitterness lasts, really warming spicy end

Its first glass from bottle, i think it needs more time to breathe and open up

Slow sipper. Pretty heavy burn on this one. It's quite nice.

Incredible sipper. So far I've only been able to try this at a rum tasting, but I was blown away. Rich caramel notes, typical of Foursquare, but with a very unique finish. I almost want to give it a 10, but I need to try it a few more times. Hopefully I'll be revisiting this around Christmas.

Nose is amazing airy wood with hint of burn, zinfandel or apple brandy taste with more wood on the end and definitely a bourbon finish
