Doctor Bird Pineapple

This is just a sweeter heavier version of the original Moscatel cask finish (which is a great rum). Has some funk but it’s not clean or very well incorporated. No pineapple notes here so if you want something that tastes like pineapple you will find none of that in this bottle. Kind of tastes a little more chemically or bitter? It’s just sort of off-tasting like it missed its mark.

Tasted on 10-25-23 thanks to Lisa R. As with all Doctor Bird products, this is just not my thing. Serious heat at 114 proof, but little else. Odd chemical floor polish aroma but nothing resembling pineapple in this mess.
