Just no... I'm ashamed that THIS is the rum that represents my country
For many years, this was the only easily purchased rum in Aus. Sadly, most of us HAD to drink this stuff. Thank god for the importers who have now introduced easy access to wonderful Caribbean rums. There is very little positive feedback to offer on this variant of the Bundy offerings. However, they do produce some really nice small batch stuff - worth exploring...
I recall having this rum all the time in Australia in my youth. However, I must have grown taste buds since then. Its like a strong plum brandy mixed with pure alcohol... yet its underproof. Its a miracle that they have stayed in business... unless Australia disallows imports. Seriously thinking of using it as paint remover. This is going to take a few weeks to power through. The only thing worse than this is either Chaga rum, or Wray and Nephew White overproof. If you wish to buy this on some sort of dare, projecting toxic masculinity, then be my guest.
Sorry but never ever. Hrozna prenikava neprijemna chut melasi silne pripominajuca chut plastovej flase.
Привет АвстралиЯ! My shadow on your coast )
Underproof, 37° still feels like good 43.
When ethanol is bit evaporated the aroma of Australian (I guess) soil amuses you. That is some of the most exotic tastes I've experienced out of 115th. Exotic, but the core is still just the sugar cane.
I guess it may be Ok for a cocktail.
Iv been drinking bundy rum since I was 18yo I absolutely love the taste it is a great drink all Aussies love bundy rum and I'll drink it all the time bundy rum is the best alcohol on the market today to all the bundy haters #### you
If you want a headache and regrets. Buy this.
Still just a mixer and even then I'd prefer something else.
I'm Australian and grew up knowing rum as an awful drink. Now I discover its because the "Bundy" Marketing machine raised us on this hideous muck. Who knew, rum can be nice! But really, if it is all that is on offer in the sticky dusty hell-hole of a pub you are in, and you need to get hosed, then bury it in coke and / or ginger beer or concrete or something and have a sweet night.

I live in oz, and most bar will have this as their house rum, but really they shouldn’t, worst rum I ever drank.
