Intensely fruity, punchy but not harsh, soft oak, complex. Overall extremely solid.
Time to try my Holmes Cay Fiji 17 yr 2004 rum. The colour of this rum is golden brown. On the nose this is a very inviting rum, the 58% ABV is immediately noticeable in a good way and differs from the funky Jamaican rums or sweet (not sweetened) Bajan rums. My first sip does not disappoint, all sorts of wonderful flavours, spices and oak are coming through and the finish is warm and long. This rum will be joining my list of excellent rums to keep on my shelf. Very Very Good!

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Spicy, fruity, wish it was smoother for a 17yr, makes me think of foursquare harsh to be harsh
