Ron Zacapa Centenario XO Solera Gran Reserva Especial

I love Zacapas and that's one of my favorites.. not so special though for that price tag.

An interesting and nice rum but I think a little expensive for the flavors it offers. Distinct aroma of caramelized sugar and chocolate. To taste - caramel, chocolate, a light shade of wood and spices. I would say not a particularly impressive ending.

Where to start, sweet and smooth, notes of honey and dark caramel to go with the raisin and date flavours. Sweeter than a lot of premium rums but I can't fault the flavour.

It's very mild. Tastes great (tasting a bit of chocolate or cocoa?). The only problem I have with it is the flat finish. Nothing changes in the taste.

Not something extraordinary, a refined, stronger and sugarless Zacapa. You can appreciate it but I wouldn't sip it every night.

Consistently revealing an excellent quality. A little bit on the sweet side without compromising it’s complexity in flavor and aroma . No doubt it is a very good sipping rum.

Wow, this is some damn good rum. Presentation of the bottle in the box as well as the bottle makes you realize this is not your average rum. Absolute perfection in this. The way its blended, aged, the aroma and the flavor of this, definitely one you have to try if you are willing to shell out almost $150 (after tax) you can go wrong with this.

Great flavor, smooth with little burn. A bit pricey when I can find it.
