A. H. Riise XO Reserve Superior Cask

Ked som ochutnal prvy krat Riiseho Family reserve bol som sklamany... povedal by som, ze chut XO reserve je takmer rovnaka. Rum je velmi sladky, vo voni prevladaju pomarance, vanilka a nejaka cudna aroma, ktora mi v tomto rume vadi a neviem ju identifikovat. Alkohol sa po chvilke strati a na jazyku ostane len dllho trvajuca sladkost.. Nieje to uplne zla volba pre milovnikov sladkych rumov, ale neviem si predstavit, ze by som toho vypil viac ako jeden, dva pohariky. Skusim este Navy verziu, snad to bude lepsie...

Very disappointed with this rum, orange flavors are too strong and take over on rum. It's like an orange liqueur. Definitely an exotic rum!

This one tastes a lot like the family reserva to me..

Rich taste packed with orange..

It took me a while to get into this rum. It was too heavy and uninteresting but on the end after couple of weeks we became a frinds:)

"premium rum" offering a harmonious blend of caramel, vanilla, and spices. Silky texture with a long-lasting finish

I was expecting something more, something better. This is not a bad rum, but I think I can find better in this price range.

7:The first nose reveals a hint of heavy rum (overripe banana), but this remains fairly stealthy, as vanilla and orange quickly assert themselves, enhanced by a large pinch of cinnamon. The cinnamon's powdery aspect really comes to the fore, all the more so as pepper and nutmeg come to the fore. The sugar is very present, giving us a kind of spicy candy.We return to the orange zest when we shake the rum. This gives a slightly drier impression that tries to bring a little balance before the cinnamon melted into the vanilla makes a comeback. The spicy ambience continues with ginger and cardamom, reminiscent of the little gingerbread men we eat during the holidays.
6:The vanilla-orange-cinnamon trio that leads the way on the palate is definitely reminiscent of Christmas. It's a tropical Christmas, and a particularly West Indian one at that, since these aromas are reminiscent of the famous schrubb prepared in the islands for this occasion.
6:The finish with thick sugar of an orange liqueur takes over, depositing this citrus flavor on the palate for a long time to come.

Intenzív narancsos, nagyon édeskés illat és aroma... Nem rossz, de nem lesz kedvenc.

I think this is the most Sweet Ah Riise I’ve ever tried and I must say it’s Delicious!! Especially after a nice bbq diner it tastes very good. That’s why I give it an 8.
It reminds me of something, but I can't recall the typical taste of a particular good. Too bad then, give me another drink. I love it!!!
