This r h u m is a classic mixer with heavy molasses undertones surprisingly being a Rhum.
Notes of dark fruit, dark cherry cinnamon spices and tropical fruits.
Great room for the old tiki recipes
This rum while priced ok, tastes of a Jamaican rum with hints of banana. Was hoping for a bit more from this Guyanan. Not bad but Probably wont buy again because there are so many other interesting rums on the market.
This is a reasonable social rum. A few friends, a poker game and a mixed drink. Some sweet notes and a taste of spice. Not a sipping rum for sure.
We were, sadly, pretty disappointed in this one. It's fine for mixing, just to add some punch to a drink, but on its own we couldn't find anything really to say about this... it's inexpensive, so that's good? If you are looking for something to kick up a large batch drink, this will do.
This is a tasty rum, enjoyed it neat and as a mixer. Not to crazy about the screw on cap but it is what it is. Nice mouth, not too sweet and rather enjoyable for the price point.
Not a premium rum but with a few ice cubes a decent sipper. Something about Guyana rums makes them a little better than their price range.
The flavor of this rum is very nice. This is the Demerara. I love it.
On the other hand, the taste is not rich, compered to the flavor.
Average tasting rum. Not overwhelming. Good priced quality.
This is not a sipping rum.
This rum is full flavoured and can be appreciated in any mixed drink as the mixer will not over power it.
Lemon Hart is not harsh, however it is also not mellow and will be tasted over/through pretty much any mixer.
I love it as a change from sippers or on a cold night, with Coke.
Fruity Demerara nose chocolate covered raisins and a tiny hint of aniseed.
"The finish is very short however and leaves a bit of a tobacco like taste in the mouth."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
