While certainly not a rum for everyone, no one can deny it its unique flavor which I personally like with very typical Coloma character and "handwriting" again present here, relatively hard to distinguish from the younger ones, excluding somewhat elevated % of alcohol (this is basically not a critique as I overall like production of this rumhouse). Overall sweet enough, reasonably "kicking" (50%+ of alcohol), good coffee nose. Flavor again coffee and perhaps a little smokey.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is an exceptional rum, the only disappointment is that I only bought one bottle. I was worried the high alcohol content would diminish the sipping quality, however I was definitely wrong. The nose is very sweet to start and does not come off with an overpowering alcohol aroma. I get anise and a slight vanilla then the alcohol permeates the sinuses, numbs the lips and warms my soul! Kudos to the makers of this, the nectar of the gods!
