Chairman’s Reserve Legacy 5-8 Years

On the nose there is tobacco, new leather and some nail varnish.

On the palate there is tobacco , pear, cinnamon and pencil shavings. Orange zest, leather and oak. The finish is long with tobacco and caramel.

Rum made from molasses and sugarcane - problem I don't like the taste of rum made from molasses. But at least the best molasses rum that I tasted this far. Best is the color - with a light touch of red.

Made some lovely cocktails with this but good neat too.

Chairman’s Reserve Legacy is a well balanced rum with classic St. Lucia notes. Fruity a bit funky. It smells good. Taste is tropical fruit, it’s quite deep with a long pleasant aftertaste. A fine rum for a fair price.
